As believers who place our trust in Jesus, we are baptized into one body—that is his body, the church (1Cor 12:12-31). Jesus said “I am the vine, you are the branches, he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, but apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). In Christian unity, we celebrate our diversity of ethnicity, gender, occupation, experience and talent. In humility and love, we value human dignity and esteem each person in Christ.
